From Psychosocial Risk and Burnout to Preventive Action: Emotional Education as a Mental Health Care Strategy

Recent scientific literature warns about the increase in burnout among educators and students, attributed to poor working conditions, lack of training, institutional deterioration, and pandemic aftermath. This Dossier brings together research that addresses chronic stress from a critical and diverse perspective. Notable studies include research on Mexican university students with high levels of psychological risk, logistics sector workers affected by emotional exhaustion, and a preventive proposal using the Life Crafting scale. It is concluded that emotional education is key to preventing psychosocial burnout in work and educational contexts.
